I updated a course in Presenter 09 and am testing in our LMS. When I exit the course and open it again I do get the RESUME button and it works, but is not labeled.
I've checked all the settings and can't figure it out. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Hi, Tammy -- Thank you for reaching out here and sorry for your troubles! First, may I ask if you have taken a look at this information for when you receive a Blank message, dialog, button, or label in a published presentation? Please let us know if that does the trick or if issues persist!
Hi Christie, I think this is what I was looking for! I'm resending the course to test in our LMS and if this isn't it I'll be sure to let you know. Thanks so much!!
Well, I just retested my course and still the buttons are not labeled. I only set the text for this particular label. I am not sure why the other fields are blank but not having any issues with anything else. Please see attached screen shot.
It's still now working. I'm stumped. I have 3 courses all set up exactly the same and one works and the other 2 do not. The button is there and works but not labeled. I changed the language to English from the drop down and all the fields populated.
Any tips would be appreciated. I have to get this back into production ASAP.
Hi, Tammy -- So sorry to hear that issues persist! We'll need to take a look at your file to get a better idea of what is taking place, so if you can use the steps listed here to Create an Articulate Package, you are welcome to use this form to send it along for private review.
What browser are you using to view this course? A 404 error means the file is not there at all, so missing them is a bit redundant. :)
If the LMS team thinks they're missing, I'd look at ensuring you've uploaded all the files from the published output folder to ensure everything is up there.
I am using Internet Explorer 11. I reviewed the course in the LMS again just now and it works perfectly except for the resume not being labeled. The LMS guy actually said that there were numerous 404 File Not Found errors during testing. He provided a list of 27 404 Errors. I can't find anything in the output folders and I can't send the file for you guys to view. I've tried opening the source file and saving it to my desktop and rezipping but nothing seems to fix this. I'm not sure what to try next.
I'd look at republishing your course and ensure that you've provided the entire contents of the published output folder to your LMS team, and I'd look to zipping it as well to ensure that none of the elements get moved or deleted as you need to keep the file and folder structure exactly as it. Did they say what files were missing? Perhaps you may also need to ensure you're using the publish method that they require - you'll want to publish for LMS as detailed here and then confirm with the LMS team which output such as SCORM, AICC, Tin Can, etc.

The LMS guy says I'm missing 404 files... but that's beyond my skill set. I'll see if I can send over one of the 2 courses for your review. Thank you!
