Side menu messing up when resuming a presentation

Jun 24, 2011

This week we published 15+ courses for a pilot and have noticed that some of them adopt a weird side menu when resuming where you left off.  Yet if you go back in after saying 'no' to 'Resume?; then the menu corrects itself.

Basically is shows a random number of slides, sometimes duplicating the slide name.  And the links then go to these slides instead of the ones they should.  Naturally the pilot group are finding this a bit disconcerting and have to go back in to start afresh.

Have never seen this before.

is this a known fault with a known fix?  We don't want to have to keep publishing and upload the faulty courses because there's nothing wrong with the SLIDE PROPERTIES.  Plus it takes time to keep doing that.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Simon,

Can you replicate the issue if you publish with the Corporate Communications player template?  It's possible that your custom player template has been corrupted.  Thus, recreating it from scratch should resolve the issue.  However, the easiest way to verify this is by seeing if you can replicate the issue with the Corporate Communications player template.
