Slide stage size

Feb 15, 2011

Hi there

does anyone know whether it's possible to resize (increase) the slide section in Presenter, and how can it be achieved?

Thanks

The slide size is locked at 720x540, regardless of player mode (sidebar, no sidebar, etc.).

You can, however, by following the instructions in this post, increase your usable real estate if you aren't afraid to use a little Flash.

I've also used this same concept with web objects.  You can set your player view for the slide to no sidebar, insert your web object and then manually resize it to about 980x560.

Hello,

I've created a menu in flash which I want to import in my PPT presentation.

I did a print screen of a portion of my PPT slide so I can redimension my flash file right. When I import my flash file, it always comes bigger than the space I measured (print screen). Why?!

How can I know the exact size I need for my flash files?

Thanks,

Hi Christian

The typical powerpoint presentation is 800 x 600, presenter is 720 x 540 you need to set the dimensions in flash to 720 x 540 and it will fill the screen.

It is good practice when using articulate to size the flash to the size you need because resizing in ppt before publish can cuiase problems

If you set the flash stage as 720 x 540 you can always save the ppt slide as an image and import into flash and use this as a guide, (800 x 600 will scale perfectly to 720 x 540)
