So - I ran into a weird thing today. When I published a piece today, a text box on one slide flipped upside down... I opened the PPTX file, and all looks fine.
It sounds like your text box may have been inadvertently set to 180 degrees. To fix that, delete the text box and create a new one making sure the box is 0 degrees.
