Title Text box not publishing correctly

Mar 13, 2013

I have one slide (out of 10 in this presentation and many using a similar template) where the title text box isn't publishing correctly.  It seems to be adding an extra "e" and losing a space after not.  I can get the "e" to move (using Ctrl-enter) but I can't get rid of it.  I've tried everything I can think of.  Help.

Hey Alison

That's definitely strange. Can you check to make sure your DPI is set to 96?

If that checks out, we'd be happy to have you send us your files so we can examine it more closely. First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload.

Thanks, Alison!

Has this issue been resolved? I'm having the same exact problem - the title slide has an extra letter that's only visible upon publishing or preview. I have my dpi set to 96 (or, 100%).

Hi Donna, welcome to the community

Looks like in Alison's case, it was resolved using one of the two below methods:

Method 1: Adjust the Z axis for the shape in the following manner:

1) Right-click the text box, and select "Format Shape".
2) Select the 3-D Rotation tab on the left side of the window.
3) Subtract one-tenth (.1) of a degree from the Z Rotation Axis. Since the Z axis is currently 0, change it to 359.9.
4) Click the Close button.

Method 2: Save the text as an image

1) Right-click on the text box, then select Save as Picture.
2) Save this as a PNG file.
3) Insert this saved image as a replacement for your original text box.
4) Delete your original text box.

Let us know if that helps, and we'll be happy to go from there.

Thanks!
