Hi, Rob -- Thanks for reaching out with your question! Just to be clear, may I ask if your client is utilizing an LMS? If so, please see this information, specifically the section on Reporting and Tracking for additional information. If not, please provide as much additional information as you can about the environment in which the content will be viewed by your client's students.
Hi, Rob -- Thanks for your response and may I ask, do you intend to publish for Web as you mentioned you are not using an LMS? As it mentions here in the information on Publishing a Presentation for Web, "If you want users to be able to access your course via the Internet or an intranet, and if you don't need to track users' completion or progress, then web publishing is for you. (If you do need tracking capability, you’d want to instead publish to Articulate Online or to an LMS.)"
Hi, Rob -- You may want to check out this thread, as the suggested options should work for you in either Studio or Storyline without having to use an LMS. Please let me know if that will do the trick, or if you still need additional assistance. :)

They are not using an LMS. The published files are just living in a directory on a webserver. You can see them here https://8pillarsuniversity.com/modules/module1/index.html
The user just navigates to the index.html file which pulls in all of the flash and js files.

I did not publish the course. It was published to the web years ago before I was brought on to the project.
Are you saying that there is no way to track progress unless courses are published to an LMS?
