Can you advise? We have created an elearning in English but then wanted to have a new version translated into Japanese. The powerpoint was translated into Japanese. Before publishing in articulate we have changed the language options on the computer and the articulate player character set, fonts and text labels in articulate but the published version still displays with japanese characters missing. Not sure about the next steps...
Hi Sean I also had to change my powerpoint translation to Arial Unicode MS as MS Gothic did not work and random characters appeared. After changing all the settings on the computer as recommended by Steve and changing the font it worked fine in articulate.

Hi Steve and Janet
I am using Arial Unicode MS as I cannot get any of the standard Japanese fonts to publish (MS Mincho and MS Gothic).
If you guys know of another nice Japanese font that works in Articulate it would be great to know.
