Translation of projects

Jul 06, 2023

Hello, I would like to translate an Articulate 360 project. There is a translation entry in the menu area. I select this and click on Word output. An error message then follows and the process is over. What do I have to do to use this function? Thanks

Hello Uwe, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes Community! Glad you're here! 🥳

I understand you'd like to translate your Storyline 360 Project into another language. What a wonderful way to reach more learners across the globe! Happy to help point you in the right direction!

Could you please share the error message that you are receiving?

Just to confirm, are you experiencing this in the Player Properties window, or,

when you are exporting/importing the translation for the entire course from the FILE tab?

In the meantime, I'd like to share a few articles that will be of help as you're translating your course:

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hello Uwe,

I tried to translate the text included in the file that you shared, but it looks like it didn't contain the correct error message needed to see what's happening in your project file.

Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening when you export your translation file to Word? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

Hello Uwe,

Thanks for the additional information!

Removing all of the Engage 360 slides in your PowerPoint project allows the translation file of your course to be exported successfully.

This means that one or more of your Engage 360 slides are causing the exporting of the translation file to file. Since this is the case, I went ahead and opened a support case on your behalf so we can have our support team locate which specific set of slides are causing the behavior. Please be on the lookout for an email from our support team regarding the next troubleshooting steps!
