Just downloaded the AP 2013 upgrade. Trying to add annotations to a course, but having no success. On the Add Annotation screen, I tried each of the tools (arrows, checks, boxes) and click like a wild man. No annotations objects appear. Very mysterious.
I am experiencing the exact same issue. The annotation buttons are completely unresponsive. I just upgraded from 09 to 13. I also have Storyline installed.
Adding to this scenario, I discovered that the annotations do show up when I publish, but not during the creation and playback when adding them to a course.
Tim, I believe this is our answer. I am using the latest flash version and it doesn't work with Studio 13. The answer is to downgrade your flash version until they update Studio 13.
