Unwanted Changes

May 24, 2012

I am using Articulate Presenter 09 and I am experiencing some unwanted issues.  First, after successfully publishing the same course multiple times over the past 2 weeks, I discovered yesterday my slide titles had been completely changed/overwritten in the slide properties screen.  The titles were repeats of titles I have existing in a branching scenario later in the couse so I had for example 8 slides now randomly titled "Objection Type 3".  After fixing that issue and updating some sound files I once again had one slide which again reverted back to the name "Objection Type 3" ADDITIONALLY I also had about 8 or so slides which are now in the locked position and the only slides that I had originally locked are in my branching scenarios.   What is causing this gremlin-like activity to occur?   It is extremely frustrating as I am very close to the go live point and I am now scrambling to fix random changes not made by me.  The only other difference in process has been that I recently renamed the file to reflect two version changes (e.g. course1_v2, course1_v3).  I am hoping someone can help!  I'm a long time Articulate user but this one has me stumped.  Thanks.

Welcome to Heroes, Colleen, and sorry for the trouble.

I'd recommend sending us your files so we can take a close look at what's going on. If you'd like to do that, please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09, which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so I can follow up with you personally in the forums. And feel free to come back and leave your case number here so I can keep a close eye on it. Thanks!
