Up/Down navigational arrows to add dimension?

Hello Everyone,
We noticed some navigational arrows in our published presentation and were wondering how they would ever come into play. Is there a way to use these to add a vertical dimension to presentations? Any other ideas for how to do this?

I don't think these scrollbars are a property of the player. I assum that your viewing pane is to small for your presentation, hence the scrollbars. if you increase your browser window, do these scrollbars remain ?
