Viewing attachments in Firefox

Sep 24, 2015

Hello

I have a client using a Mac and Firefox.  When clicking on the Resources tab, they do not see a title for the attachments (just the icon).  Is this a known issue, and is there anything I can do about it?  I see the titles on my windows pc.

thank you!

Hi, Joanne -- Thank you for your patience while I tested your file. It did not occur to me initially that per the Viewing Content section of our System Requirements info, Firefox is not supported for viewing HTML5 content. However, that being said, I also had difficulties viewing the content in Chrome and Safari on my Mac.

I am going to create a sample file as well, to see if I find the same result, so I will keep you posted.

Hello again, Joanne -- Ok, so I created a basic file with a PDF added to the Resources section, and when testing with Tempshare as seen in this link, I was able to see the PDF title next to the icon in both Chrome and Safari with the same publish settings you've used.

As I was not able to reproduce the issue that you had in a test file, I think it would be a good idea to have our Support Engineers take a look at your file and assess what may be happening. As you have already provided your Presenter package and a description of what you are experiencing, I will go ahead and submit a support ticket on your behalf (00653727). You will be hearing from someone on the Support staff via email after they have had an opportunity to review your case. Thanks again for your patience! :)
