Hello, I believe that with the current version of Articulate Studio '09 users with Flash versions as old as 6.1 can view Articulate content.
With the new version ('11?) being compatible with actionscript 3 this could be a problem for organisations whereby it is quite a project to upgrade everyone to a newer version of Flash - if that is required.
So will the version of Flash required for end-users be changed, and if so to what version must they upgrade to at a minimum?
Can you give any indication (ballpark) of what the new minimum flash version will be? Are we talking 7 or higher, or will they set the bar at v 10 or higher or something? Will there be the option to publish for older versions of Flash?
Hi David. Right now the Flash version we will be targeting is not something we can share. If you have a specific suggestion, I would suggest you submit a feature request here:

We will be targeting a higher version of Flash Player but we haven't announced what that is yet.
Is there a tentative date for when the new version of Studio will be released? If not, do you anticipate it being released within the next year?
Hi Brandy - yah, here's a post from another discussion where Arlyn mentions that we hope to ship the new Studio by end of year.
Cool. Thanks

Hi David-
Check out this post from the Storyline thread.
Hey, David. Sorry, didn't know we had shared that yet. Thanks, Gabe!
