I like Tom's idea with the transparent boxes. Links usually work fine for me when I use images. But when I use grouped objects or curved objects, they can get messed up.
I have this same problem, first time it's ever happened to me. I use transparent shapes for the hyperlink. When I preview, the hyperlinks don't work at all. But when I publish it, they work exactly the way I want them to. Anyone know how to get the preview to work again so I don't have to publish in order to preview?

Thanks for posting that link Justin. I was having a terrible time figuring out why my hyperlinks weren't working until I read the article and found the culprit was commas in my slide titles. I'm sure it's already on the wish list but it would be great if the hyperlinks would work in preview. It seems like some but not all work in preview.

Are you using Smart Art? That gives me trouble some times.
I think hyperlinks on Text boxes have trouble sometimes. Tom has a post on using transparent shapes to manage hyperlinks. It's a great tip. Here's the post: http://www.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/heres-a-free-powerpoint-e-learning-template/
