I create a brand new powerpoint presentation using Presenter 13.
I try and insert an mp4 video I just converted and I get the error message shown below.
(if I could attach an image here I would, however I can't (because it's the first post), so I'll create this post, then reply to my own message so that I can attach the image. Isn't there a better way?)
That does sound odd - this only happens when you try to insert an MP4 file? Does it happen with a specific MP4, or have you tested with another video?
I'm sure you're already aware of this, but make sure that all of your project files (including the video) are on your local hard drive. Also, if there are any extra spaces or underscores, try removing them. If the file names are fairly long, it may help to try shortening them.
Actually it turns out it happens before I even get to select the file... as soon as I hit the "Video" button in the articulate tab I get this even before I select the video file I want to import. Thanks for the tips about the spaces and underscores -- spaces have always been a problem, underscores not so much.
Huh - so it's actually an issue with accessing the option through the menu, then? Does this happen if you use any of the other options to insert/select media? How about audio or Flash?
