Assigning Points in a Likert Scale

I've created a self awareness survey using a Likert scale in Surveys, but I'd like to create a point scale to the chosen responses to give a total score that would show where they fall into specific categories. For example, answer options always=3 pts, sometimes=2 pts, rarely=1 pt and their score totals up to a certain number to show their preference (ie: if your points total 10 you are more likely x, if your points total 20 you are more likely y, if your points total 30 you are more likely z.).
Does anyone have suggestions on how best to assign the points, then have a results slide that isn't graded within Surveys or do I need to do a Graded question?

Hi Tami!
By design, a Likert scale is not scored, since it's a survey-style question.
Are you limited to using Quizmaker to design this Likert scale, or can you use Storyline? If Storyline is an option, this personality style quiz may be a good place to start.
i wanted to to do the same thing and i am limited to quizmaker. Any ideas on how to do this?
Hello Elkton08 and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
If you're limited to Quizmaker, then you may want to consider using a Graded Question type to build your assessment.
Check out this similar conversation here as well as our documentation on the graded questions that can be used to score by choice.
I'm looking forward to hearing from other community members in how they designed a similar requirement.
