I would like to build a test using Articulate 13 Quizmaker and have individuals review an external link before attempting to answer questions about it.
Can someone tell me if it is possible to prevent someone progressing through a quiz without having clicked on a link that is to be the pre-requisite of the Quiz.
I want to have this all built into 1 Quizmaker quiz.
I'm not aware of a way to do this within a Quizmaker quiz. The only thought that comes to mind is to add a question on the slide with the hyperlink - you could ask something about the site/page that would only be known if the learner visits the page, or ask them to confirm they visited the page.
Having said that, this is something you could accomplish in Storyline using triggers and variables. This might be something to consider if this is a requirement in your quiz. Keep in mind, though, that while Storyline supports Studio '09 content, it does not yet support Studio '13 content.
I wonder if you can force someone to click on a link within the quiz. If they don't, is there a way that the Quiz cannot let them continue until they do?
Would Hotspots work? I am not sure if you can have a hyperlink in Hotspot.
Yes, you can do this. If you insert a hotspot, you can add text. Select that text and you can format the text, as well as right-click and add a hyperlink to the text.

Hi Sam,
That is a brilliant idea! :)
