Certificate of Completion

I need to create a simple Certificate of Completion for a regulatory compliance course. I want to modify the Report. html. file. The certificate will have a header, text saying congratulations you passed, etc. I cannot figure out thecode to get the learner's name and the current date to print on the certificate. I attempted to modify the report.html file using the information provided back in 2009 but that does not work - the only thing that prints is the header. I am using Quiz Maker 09. Any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated as I have to figure out a way to print a cert from within the course after the leaner has successfully completed the quiz..
