feedback box

Aug 27, 2013

Hi,

I'm fairly new to Articulate, so I've really been trying to take advantage of your forums, tutorials and blog posts, which have been great!

I just learned how to customize the background and layout of my quizzes, but now that I've moved the text around, my feedback box is covering the text and, because I have everything set to transparent, you can't read the feedback clearly.  Is it possible to reposition where the feedback shows up?  I thought in one of the sample tutorials, the feedback was showing up in the bottom right corner, but that particular tutorial wasn't explaining how to do that.  I haven't gotten involved in branching yet, but I suppose that may be my best bet?

Thank you!

Laura

Hi Laura and welcome to Heroes!

Was the tutorial you saw for Quizmaker or Storyline? Within Storyline you can update the location of the "Feedback" boxes for the Correct/incorrect slide layers by going into "View" . From there you'll find the "Feedback Slide masters" on the top ribbon. When you move things around on that level, you'll want to be sure to grab all the elements (two text boxes, a "Continue" button, and the box itself).

Within Quizmaker, you could disable the Feedback by Question option and use a blank slide after the question slide to share the feedback (using the branching scenario as you mentioned). That way the feedback wouldn't ever cover the question.

Hope that helps, and let us know if you need anything else!
