I want to build a quiz that will be hosted on my website and gather contact information so that I can contact the participant and/or add them to an email list.
How would I gather the information from a Storyline course/quiz on a website?
Typically this information is captured when hosting your course in a Learning Management System (LMS). If you're not going to host within an LMS, but strictly on your website, I know folks in E-Learning Heroes have looked at embedding a Google form or similar to capture learner info.
The quickest way to collect information without an LMS is by using the Data Cloud widget: https://cluelabs.com/data-cloud-elearning-widget.html When you build your widget, you will see the instructions that provide Storyline triggers to use in the module.

Ashley, do you have an example of how that information was captured with a google form?

Hi there, Joan!
Collecting learner information in a Google form is outside our wheelhouse, so I'll have to leave it to the community to assist with that!
