Getting a Browser Error when Printing Results

Dec 01, 2014

I have created a simple user interface (an html page with linked slices) to all of my Presenter files and accompanying PDFs.  There is also one quizmaker file published for CD.  The slice it is linked to is working (@ quiz.html) You can perform the quiz. You can ask it to print and it will open the dialog box where it ask you to type your name.  THEN it will give you this message:

WARNING   The print results feature on this slide has been disabled while viewing locally because your browser does not support it.

UGH!!

I downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash for both PC and MAC... (I'm on a Mac running VMWare for my PC side).  I've used both safari and Firefox and am getting the same results.

If I try taking the quiz straight from my Quizmaker folder on my hard drive everything is perfect.  BUT if I click on the quiz from my interface, it uploads to a new browser window, take the quiz, click to print to results, type in any incoherent or coherent text, I get that error message above.

What to do, what to do?

On the PC it works it doesn't work on the Mac side.. But I will relink to that and re-burn a DVD and let you know what happens

I am very new to Articulate Storyline 2 and have been tasked with creating a training module that will be delivered to a user population within our company to view...However, when I publish the story file to a SharePoint or shared folder for all to access, I get the same print error message. We have an LMS but since the user population is temporary, they cannot access it, apparently.

Do you have any advice on how to get our users access to print? Or advice on a different way to publish this? I'm at a loss...

Thanks!!

Yes--we cannot utilize an LMS for this user group and they do not have internet access, so we have it available currently for our approvers to view in a SharePoint site and the print option still does not work. This involves me zipping the published folder and uploading it and then those users watching the story.html file within.  Again, I am very beginner, so I apologize if this is an "easy" one and I just can't figure it out!
