Hotspots - Incorrect responses

I'm having trouble getting the mechanics of my assessment to work. This is the first one I've built using hotspots. What is the best way to show a correct response (ie, image with the correct area highlighted)? What I did was use a blank slide to insert the correct/highlighted image with the text being The correct answer is:. Then I linked the incorrect response from the original question to this blank slide.

So now I'm having a problem getting the course to skip the blank slide and only show it as an incorrect response to said question.

Ideas? Or maybe there's a simpler way to do this?
