I have a colleague who created a quiz on their computer, and I need to have it on my computer to make edits and we cannot figure out how to get the quiz/package to me so that I can edit in Quizmaker. Are their simple steps that I am missing? We have tried to zip the package and place on our share drive, and I cannot open; we have tried to transfer the file via a thumb drive, not working either... I am at a lost. Please help. Thank you.
It sounds like you are trying to share a published file instead of the saved Quiz file. The file should have a .quiz extension like the file I've attached (which you should be able to open in quizmaker).
For a Quizmaker quiz, you'll want to share the .QUIZ file that's created with the project. For example, say I have a quiz named "LearningToCrochet", there will be a file created called "LearnToCrochet.quiz". This is the file you'll want to share.
If you share the published files, you won't be able to modify the quiz itself - these are the files that are created for a server (web, lms, etc.).
If you have your quiz inserted into a Presenter presentation, you can share a Presenter Package:
Just remember to extract any compressed files before working with them and always work with local project files (access from your C: drive/hard drive).

I hope this helps!
