Instead of the default feedback when the user click the "submit" button on the slide. Is there anyway to format the "submit" button, to change the feedback contents when the user click it?
Do you want to change the submit button, or the feedback?
You can relabel the submit button by clicking the "player" icon, and then in the player properties panel select Custom > Text Labels. Locate the Submit button and change the custom text.
You can change the change the feedback layer by selecting View > Feedback Master. Add a new feedback master, and customize it to look the way you want. When you finish return to your question slide, select the layer with the feedback, right click on the slide, select layout, and select your custom feedback panel.
Thanks for your information. I click the "player" icon and select custom-Text Labels. I change the Custom Text as what I would like to show when the user click the "submit" bottom. From the Preview, I test and it looks that it has changed. But after I upload to the LMS and run the activity, it still show the original information. Please see the attachment. Thanks.
Are you attempting to change the label on the submit button, or the continue button on the feedback? From your image, it appears that you want to change the feedback button.
To change the feedback button, you will need to change the text for the button on the feedback master. Check this out for information about how you can make that change.
Hi Dave, I may not state clearly. I set a survey question and it's a pick-one question (only one item to pick). I already set the feedback when the user pick the question. But sometime the user may forget or want to skip this question, so I need to set the notice that if he skip it and click the "submit" botton.
Those text messages can be set in the storyline player, custom text panel. See the image that I've attached. Also, here is some more information about how to set that message.
I used the quizmaker to do the question. Is there the same function to set the text panel in the "Player " tab. Or I need to download the Articulate Storyline.
