Incorrect Feedback in Quiz when Published via Studio
Jul 26, 2016
I am currently using Articulate Studio to pubish courses with embedded quizzes. The quiz on some courses allow review, and when students complete the quiz, then review the answers, often times the question provides conflicting results. The images show the correct answer is checked with a green check mark, yet the question is being graded as "Incorrect". The LMS who publishes found an issue with the LMS code and stated I needed to raise the issue with Quizmaker and/or Articulate Studio. I found a similar discussion from 10 months ago, but the resolution only applied to Storyline, and not to using Articulate Studio to publish courses. They have a second customer using Articulate seeing the same results. Here is the text they used to describe the issue.
Our other client was also getting this error off Articulate. The software is, essentially, allowing you to answer questions with invalid SCORM framework feedback, the type of answer does not match the data type for that question. The attached log will cover the rest of the information.
This error is considered 'non-critical' so the LMS can ignore it, but it then depends entirely on the CMI data telling it whether the answer is correct or not, and it seems to be 50/50 whether Articulate realizes it's correct. So this only affects some students. I have attached their error log.
