Hi Ivan! I'm assuming that you are asking if Studio '09 and Studio '13 can be on the same machine?
They cannot.
If you download a trial of Studio '13, it will remove your Studio '09 install.
If you are just looking to test it out and do not want to go thru the uninstall, install, uninstall, install process, then you may want to utilize a different computer if possible.
We'll install it on a different computer then. Just to make sure, for Storyline, that's different someone else informed me on the Storyline forum : we can install both on the same computer and then uninstall Storyline 2 without touching the installation of Storyline 1. Am I OK?
Thanks again! And, another question, If you don't mind, just in case, if we want to just test Quizmaker and Replay, does what you wrote about the Suite apply also to these applications?
It just popped my mind that Presenter install as a plugin in Powerpoint, wich would prevent having both version on tne same computer. I thought that since Quizmaker is a standalone application in '09, maybe what you wrote would not apply to this part of the suite.
Replay would probably be fine as it will function as a stand-alone and there is no conflicting product.
Quizmaker is included within the suite of Studio and I would not take that chance. I've done some testing before to try to run the different 'versions' of the products on the same computer and had erratic behavior, so I would not advise it.
