I would like to limit participants to 2 attempts to answer each quiz question correctly. I selected "2" on the pull down under Quiz Properties > Question Properties > Attempts Permitted.
However, when I publish the quiz and test it by answering a question incorrectly, the quiz provides the "incorrect" pop-up box and then a click box to move onto the next question. It does not provide a click box or the option to try the question again. How do I correct this?

If the question was already in your project, then changing the defaults will not affect those questions.
You can manually change this as shown in this tutorial.
