Quiz maker Caching

Mar 25, 2011

Has anyone had issues with articulate quiz maker Caching previous scores and uploading old scores to their LMS?

My client has their coworkers log into Kiosks around their plant to view training material in their LMS. When employees take the same module and test one after the other it upload the first persons score to the second person taking the test.

I believe this has something to do with shared variables in the quiz maker swf.

The lms shows different users each time quiz is taken but the first persons score gets logged when person 2 takes the quiz.

Any help would be great.

Hi Josh, I had that issue with files I had created in an older version of Captivate. It was because the index_lms and SCORM files weren't loading correctly. You also want to make sure there are no spaces in the folder containing your SCORM files, apparently that influences the behavior of the quiz within your LMS environment.

I hope this helps!

You should probably make sure that your player template is set up to ignore the Flash cookie if the quiz is in an LMS.

I would also take a look at this article which should help you troubleshoot the issue:
