I've created several question groups for a quiz and do not know how to split the groups across the powerpoint and instead continue to add the entire quiz to one slide. What are the steps to segement the groups to add to different parts of the powerpoint?
Since you don't need to track quiz data for these questions, I would break them into separate Quizmaker files.
You can do that by clicking "Save As", giving the file a new name, then deleting all of the questions except for the ones in the first group. Repeat this process from the original file until you have all of the groups created as separate files.
Your proposed solution succinctly describes how I started this project. I had 5 separate quizzes, and separate interactions imported into my presenter file. But when we attempted to publish it to the web it failed - it published just fine to Reviewer, btw. Once we deleted the Quizmaker and Engage slides the course published to the web with no problem.
So one of my fellow IDs suggested the single quiz with grouped questions which could be referenced multiple times throughout the course. I had heard of this possibility from another ID, so I thought I'd try it.
But now I'm getting from you that neither Quizmaker nor Presenter has the functional ability to deal with this. So...back to the drawing board.
Now I'm going to try linking to these quizzes and interactions instead. Unfortunatly, that adds a bit of clunkiness to the project, as follows: "Please click the box to the right to answer a question"
You definitely shouldn't have issues publishing a Presenter file that contains several quizzes and Engage interactions.
Are you using Presenter '13 or Presenter 360? Would you be willing to share the Articulate Package with us so we can take a closer look?
Just go to the File tab on the PowerPoint ribbon, click Share, and choose Articulate Package. This will create a zipped folder that contains the presentation along with all other quiz and interaction files.
How would you do it the other way - to track the results of all of the quiz questions dispersed throughout the presentation into one final score? Thanks.
To track learner's results from all of the quiz questions, you will want to use a Results Slide. The result slide appears at the end of a Quizmaker 360 quiz to give learners feedback and follow-up instructions. If the quizzes are graded, you can also display learners' scores and whether or not they passed.

Hi Brianna!
I'm happy to lend a hand! Do you need to track the results of all of the quiz questions, or are they more for informal, unscored knowledge checks?
With a bit more information about what you had in mind for these quizzes, I can point you in the right direction!
Either way, Alyssa, it would be good to have a resource on this, please. Would you please start with informal, unscored knowledge checks? Thanks!
Hi Michele,

You can do that by clicking "Save As", giving the file a new name, then deleting all of the questions except for the ones in the first group. Repeat this process from the original file until you have all of the groups created as separate files.
Then, import each separate file into Presenter. That way, the questions won't be presented as one long question group.
Give it a go, and let me know if you need any help along the way!
Thanks for the rapid response, Alyssa.

Not my favorite way of doing things.

You can share that zipped folder with us by clicking here.
I don't mind, I'm just going to have to find time to do it. Thanks for the rapid response!

Hi Margaret,
Great question!
To track learner's results from all of the quiz questions, you will want to use a Results Slide.
