Quiz Slides that Are Not Questions (Non-Graded) & Test Results

Sep 29, 2014

Hello there. I have a 14 slide 'quiz' with the first two slides being an title slide and the second being a directions/informative slide.

Here are my questions:

1) Should the two Slide be labled "Q1.1 & q1.2" as they are not questions? (See image below)

2) How do I make sure that these slides along with the rest are scored correctly using iLMS? I need an excel report of each user that completes thisexam but the scoring is off. Any tips? Using http://www.inspiredlms.com/

Any help on either question is appreciated!

Thank you so much!

Hello M Dooc, and welcome to heroes!

When you are adding these slides in, you should add them as a Freeform question. you can add the text/images you need for intro and directions.

Under Slide View, you can choose the scoring for these slide to be None. This will make sure they are not calculated in the results slide. Also you can set these to User may Skip, so they don't have to submit anything to move on. You could also set this to submit all answers at once under the player tab, so they can just hit the next button after the first 2 slides.

Also, depending on how you are using the Quizmaker file, if you are adding it into a PPT file, you could always remove these two questions, and add 2 slides before the quiz in PPT.
