Quizmaker, Multiple selection questions

Jan 09, 2014

Hi,

I am working on a module that has questions. They are multiple response questions with no wrong or right answer so I dont need to give feedback or score.

I thought I could use  a multiple response template but it forces me to give two correct answers. Is there a template that looks like the multiple response but that does not limit me in the amount of correct answres... in fact that allows me not to have to choose a correct answer at all?

thank you and I hope this is understandable...

Hi Monica and welcome to the community!

That's correct - Multiple Response quiz questions require a correct answer. However, you can also select all of the answers as correct. However, in doing so, all of those answers need to be selected.

One way around this is to provide no feedback for the question, if you're not concerned with the score.

If you're truly not wanting to score the responses or require a correct answer, how about a survey instead? For example, you could use the "Pick Many" survey. This would allow learners to choose many options and they wouldn't have to be correct or incorrect.

Is that something that might work for you?
