Recording scores on SharePoint site - capability question

Aug 25, 2014

I have recently had a discussion w/ a trainer here in my company. She'd stated that she didn't believe that we could monitor/track the correct/incorrect responses to quizzes if using our SharePoint site as repository and target location for our training and testing modules using Articulate. She'd stated that any tests being taken would not record whether questions answered received a pass or fail. This is vital for our organization's Compliance testing as we need accurate records of all those taking the courses. I am wondering if this is correct that we need something more like an LMS to accurately document/track responses to quizzes? If this is incorrect, how would I set our presentations and tests to accurately capture all responses?

Thank you for your time!

Good Morning, Lisa.

Quizmaker is designed primarily as an elearning development tool to be used in conjunction with Articulate Online or your own Learning Management System (LMS). You can track and report quiz and survey results via stand-alone Quizmaker quizzes or those embedded in Articulate Presenter using a number of methods.

If you need to track learners' progress and results in SharePoint, publish your Articulate content for LMS (SCORM), and use SharePoint's free Learning Kit. If you need additional help, please ask your SharePoint administrator for assistance.

Good luck with your project!
