Scoring with Open Elms LMS

Jan 10, 2013

Hello,

I'm using the Open Elms LMS. My courses are published to Scorm 1.2.

When the learner passes the quiz, the courses are scoring the value x+10%

When the user scores 0%, the LMS scores 0%.

My LMS host/supplier, http://e-learningwmb.co.uk said that this is an issue with Articulate and that the LMS works fine with Jackdaw (e-learning authoring software).

Thank you for your assistance.

Good morning Emma!

First, you might want to see if any of the suggestions in the threads found here and here help solve this issue for you.

If the problem still exists, would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team. The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.

Thanks!

Thank you for the reply.

This did not resolve the issue, and some of the links were no longer available.

The supplier of the Open Elms system advised that the issue could only be resolved by re-coding the LMS. An updated version is due for release later in 2013. In the meantime, I have been advised to use Jackdaw to create the quiz element of the course.

Thanks again.
