Hi team!

How  do I configure it to send test results automatically to the email address?

Hi Nursultan,

We've found that there isn't a way to email quiz results easily, accurately, and consistently. For example, if you use Gmail or your computer’s security settings are high, you can’t email results. Also, you run the risk of learners tampering with results since they can access the email before it’s sent. Given these limitations, we decided not to include the email results feature in Quizmaker.

Instead, you could include a Print Button on the results slide. Then, instruct your learners to print their results and email them to a specified address.

Alyssa,

Two features that most designers want is the ability to send results of test or survey to a location (normally email address) to check status (pass or fail) and opinion/experience.  What are you guys doing to accommodate those designers?  Also being able to easily design a certificate of attendance/completion and provide the option for the student to print locally is necessary.  You guys have made excuses as to why you have not developed/included that capability for years.  A lot of designers are not coders or do not have ready access to coders to assist them by creating JavaScript code syntax.  You guys need to address the issues I have describe within this email and to provide a time scheme for completing them.

Hi Delmar,

Quizmaker is designed as the authoring tool knowing that there are plenty of Learning Management Systems (LMS) on the market that would accomplish exactly what you're looking for. We've continued to share our stance that the tracking, reporting, and generation of certificates are truly an LMS function vs. an authoring tool function.

The same is true for connecting to an email server, and I recently saw a well-thought-out and articulated discussion on the same need for Storyline. You'll find that exchange here, and I thought the various perspectives were incredibly valuable.  As more learners and companies shift towards a web-based email client, the limitations that Alyssa shared before are still in place and it's now added to by additional security measures in browsers, emails, etc.

Our team continues to track discussions, feature requests, and cases, where Articulaters ask for these type of features. If our current setup or support of these changes, I promise we'll let you know here.
