Set course valid period

I have some training and awareness courses that are only valid for 12 month, after that users must renew the course. I also have some courses where validity of training never expires.

My company is not using an LMS server. Instead we’re using the “POSTDATA.ATT” file submitted by email to keep track of witch users have taken witch courses.

I would like to be able to somehow let the robot that crawls the POSTDATA files submitted by email, know if the course have an expiration date/period of validity. Is there any way of doing this?

I was thinking of either write general data to “POSTDATA.ATT”. Or making a “hidden” question in the quiz that can let the robot crawler know if it is a 12 month valid course or an indefinite valid course. But I don’t know how to make these solutions work or if they will work at all.
