I updated to Articulate 13 and I'm wondering if there is a way to show which question you are on?
I have a group of 25 questions and picks 15 randomly from those. I would like to be able to see how many questions I have answered; for example question 3 of 15.
The closest option would be to use the "Question List" option in the Quizmaker '13 player options. This will not number the questions, but it will give learners a better idea of where they are and how many questions there are in the quiz, and this may help with navigation and keeping track of the learner's progress.
Another option would be to modify the name of the question to include a number, but if you're randomizing questions, this probably won't work for your project.
We have recently experienced the same issue. It is highly important to use to see the question number within the report.
We have randomized the questions and used 2004 Scorm. What will be a solution? The other option is to have the entire question with all the answers and the wrong answer written within the report. Please advise. PS We have used Quizmaker 2009 to built all the questions. The question numbering was supported. Now, after updating to Studio 13, the question numbering is not supported. What's the solution?
As Leslie mentioned, the question numbers are not currently a feature that's supported with Studio '13 or Quizmaker '13. It is a pretty popular request, however.
If you haven't already, I recommend reaching out to our development team regarding this functionality. If you submit your request through this form, it will be sent directly to our development team for review. I suggest being as detailed as possible. Also, if you have any colleagues that would like to see this type of functionality added to Studio '13, it wouldn't hurt to have them submit a request as well. The more information we have on a feature, the better!

Christine, thank you for your response. Do you have a time frame for this feature to be added? Also, we have experienced some issues with reporting. When we view report on our LMS, some of the questions do now show the question details (for instance, "You complete a neurological assessment on a 12-month-old..." instead we've got this: "Scene1_QuestionDraw01_Slide3_MultiResponse_0_0". Is that something we can easily fix within Articulate? Or is that the LMS issue? Please advise.

We have migrated from 09 to 13 and have the same issue. Our users are demanding that they know how far through a long quiz they are. We have 95 questions and the question list is just not suitable. It may cause us to look at other software if this cannot be fixed -- it is a vital feature. If sections are randomized it is not possible to add a number to the slide.
Yes, sadly this feature is not possible in S13. Our users and clients have all asked us to show how far through a long quiz the user is. The question list is not feasible for a 90+ question quiz/test.
I have raised it as a feature request and hope that this can be changed soon.
We really need this feature too or we will have to consider other software that allows this feature in our online training, as required by our clients. Please an you provide a timescale on this?
Hi Laura! Looks like I just responded to you here as well.
Hi David! I do not have a status on this feature request, and I assume you've probably already submitted yours. We do not share product roadmaps or timelines, so the solution I shared previously still stands.

Already read that reply in the same thread you are responding to. I am looking for practically useful answer. I am randomizing and using a question pool of 1000 questions to create a 120 question quiz.

Maybe I should add that it's Quizmaker 13 I'm asking about above...

Hi Olga!
We do not have timelines to offer on when or if a feature will be added.
As to your second issue, I was going to say that a user had reported that and our QA Team is looking into it, but it seems that user is you
So, as you know, support and QA are looking into your issue and you can continue to work in your support case if need be.

Hi David!
Looks like you reached to our support team as well (00564657) and are getting some assistance.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts David! Those requests go to our Product Development team :)
Hello, has this feature been added in the meantime??? Can you actually indicate the number of total questions the users have answered? e.g.; 12/20 ?
We really need this feature too or we will have to consider other software that allows this feature in our online training, as required by our clients. Please an you provide a timescale on this?

Any solution to the original issue?? I recently purchased the upgrade and can use the solution.

Is the missing feature still missing??
Ah, thanks for letting me know Rohit. If you're randomizing, that solution would not work well for you.
You are correct, the feature has not been added. I thought it might be handy to share our process for handling feature requests.
