two answers are correct for a quiz

Aug 31, 2015

Hi,

Has anyone had this request?

We are looking to create a quiz, where multiple users will complete it, however some of the questions will not apply to everyone and we don’t want to penalize them for not answering. Can we have an option that is “Not applicable”? How can we format some of the questions so that both NA and the correct answer are acceptable?

Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks!

Hi Jean,

Not sure how many different "roles" would be taking the quiz, but have you thought about perhaps splitting things up a bit?

For example....  a true scored quiz for all of the questions that are common between learner roles, but before that a branching situation where the learner selects the role that applies to them and they get role specific questions they must answer to move on.

Thank you for your suggestion Bob, i had thought of that and it looks as though this might be the way to go to make it easy.  Someone also shared with me, if I use the "hotspot" quiz and put the NA answer next to the correct answer, it will not matter where they click they will both be correct...I think i will experiment with both.

thank you again both for getting back to me so quickly, i truly appreciate it!
