Please note that it is up to your LMS to determine how to process and display the data that is being sent to it. Also bear in mind that some LMSes may not be able to process the data the way that you are looking for.
Survey and essay answers are included in the data sent to your LMS, but note that to display the actual question / answer data in a report, you'll need to be using either Articulate Online or an LMS with SCORM 2004 that is also capable of giving you that report.
When published to the web it is stored in the course and in the flash cookie, it is lost when the course is closed and can only be retrieved by the user on the machine they used via the cookie

Ok, this is very helpful. Thanks Christine. That's for the LMS, what about if I publish to the Web? Where does the text go?
