Articulate replay- published MP4 video not working

Hi Pauline!

I see a 13 second video of Word that you shared here. What do you mean that it doesn't work? Are you not able to view mp4 files on your computer or did Replay not record what you expected?

Ok, this is odd. When i click the link above- it does work- however if i download it- it doesn't. What i see is in the screenshot attached

Is that media player up to date? Can you view in another program?

yes- it appears to be.

I downloaded it on VLC and it works - but i would still like to resolve this for the media library player as that what I always encourage staff to use and it has always worked perfectly...

Hi Pauline! It doesn't sound like there is an issue with your software or the file produced. I would advise to reach out to your IT Team for assistance or perhaps someone on the community has some experience with this and will be able to chime in and assist.

Pauline, I've had the same problem.  Ask your IT department to download and install updated CODECs and / or quicktime.  This should help as it solved it here.

I'm having the same problem, even VLC doesn't play it for me! How do you know what codecs to install?

Welp, guess I should have downloaded the latest update. :-) Working now! Thanks for fixing that bug.
