Could you please explain to me how to change a transition into a "smooth transition"?
I do not understand what the "push the two clips even closer together" means specifically!
"Tip: When two items are back-to-back on the same track, a vertical boundary between them means the transition will be immediate and abrupt. If you push the two clips even closer together, their boundary will change to a diagonal line, which means one item will fade smoothly into the next."
You'll want to drag the videos along the timeline to mix them together. If you drag video 2 right up next to video 1, you'll see the straight line and the abrupt transition, but if you keep dragging video 2 beyond that point towards video 1, you'll see the diagonal line to show how the videos will merge for a smooth transition.
