video background

Looks like the background color for Replay videos is black. Can I change this to white?

Thanks!

Has there been an update to this in the 360 suite?

It would be great if the videos that I produce in Replay don't have ugly black outlines around them when I drop them into Rise.

if you cant change the default background colour is there a way in Replay to enlarge the video/images so they cover the whole area and the background doesn't show?

Hi Josh,

The Replay project will be as wide as your widest video and as tall as your tallest video. Video clips and images that are smaller than those dimensions will be centered on the stage and scaled up with a black border to fill the space.

Have you tried resizing your media files to be a consistent size before importing them into Replay?

Hi Josh,

Take a look at the dimensions of all of the videos and images you plan to use in the Replay project. The video or image with the largest dimensions will determine the overall size of the project. For example, if your largest media file is 960x540, you'll want to ensure all of your videos and images are resized to 960x540.

I hope that helps!

Hi W T,

Thanks for chiming in with your inquiry.

I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.

I'd love to hear how you would utilize various background colors within Replay and/or understand what obstacle you may be running into by not having an option so that we can help you out.

I simply want multiple mp3 files to show up on the screen with the seekbar. That's it. However, that's not possible. So the only way I know is to bring the mp3 into Replay, publish it as mp4, and bring in the mp4 into storyline so my customer can use the seekbar. I then reduce the height of the mp4 to 1px and the black blackground is one black line. Then I cover that 1px line with a white shape. That's how I'm doing this workaround.
