29MB Story!

Hi Anyone,
I'm about half way through a story and it's 29MB. There are only 11 or 12 slides (a lot are used to keep the story interesting). I'm pretty certain that it soon will be too big for SL. Is there any way to compact a story? I'm thinking I can go back and decrease the resolution on the graphic files that should help a lot.
I'm open to suggestions.

Hi,
I don't think you should worry about the size, 29 MB is not much. When you publish your content SL compress the files after your specifications, and the output file will be smaller.
I am currently working on a project where my file is 458 MB and I have no problems working in SL. Update 2 fixed saving and publishing issues with large files. My published file on this project is 74 MB.
I don't think you need to decrease your graphic files. If you have update 2 installed it should be no problem.
Its not a problem, I have a 350mb file that works well, publishes to 200mb
....+ 1 with above.
I'm sure I have individual, multi-layered slides bigger than that

Tks, all. I will continue without any fear
I really do appreciate the support this and our other blogs provide. It's made getting started in Storyline relatively easy. It's nice to know that there are so many experts and experienced people out there.
Warmly,
Alan
