Hi Lucy. I have always been able to use sliders and pass 508 compliance testing for my courses. The slider is available via the tab key and once selected the left and right arrow keys moves the slider left and right through my layers. I have not had to add any additional coding/triggers/variables.
I don't know that LaCrecia needed to add in any additional code, but just allow the user to access it with the Tab button on the keyboard, and then using the Arrow keys to navigate it left and right.
Are you running into an issue with accessing it? What version/update of Storyline are you using?

Hi Lucy! They are not by default, but I know that users have found ways around this. Check out this thread.

What code did you add in to make the slider 508 compliant?
