A little help please!

Mar 13, 2013

I am working on a learning module where there are two main characters. Character A & Character B. Each character has a specific point of view on 10 different topics. Each topic will be discussed on individual slides with each character stating their point of view on that topic. When the user clicks the "Next" button after each topic I want a layer to come up and ask the user if they are more like Character A or Character B and give them the option of selecting 1 of 10 radio buttons. This would allow the user to not have to side totally with one or the other but have the ability to gauge their respons along a scale. The radio buttons should have a value of 1 to 10 assigned to each one. I want one of these rankings for each topic so that at the end I could sum the scores on each topic. The user could have a final score ranging anywhere from 10 to 100.

Any thoughts on the easiest way to do this? It would be great to show the user their score throughout the learning module.

Thanks for your help.

Oh and one more thing...The user may not complete all 10 topics and I would like to be able to show the user how they compare to Character A & Character B regardless of how many topics they have completed. ie. if they have taken 7 modules their total score could be anywhere from 7 to 70. It they only completed 4 topics their total could be anywhere from 4 to 40. This total score would then be divided by the total number of topics completed and then plotted along a line to gauge which character they are more similar to.
