Hi, Amy -- Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues. There are a few things we can try initially to to rule out odd or erratic behavior. Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. Also, could you please ensure that you are utilizing the most recent SL2 Update? Info on Update 5 can be found here.
Also, please verify that you are testing your published output in the intended environment. If issues persist, you are welcome to share your .story file here and we will take a closer look.

I previewed and published your file, and saw the behavior you highlighted, and I also tried importing your file into a new file, and it did not address the issue on my end, either. Apologies for the difficulties, but I went ahead and opened a case for you with our Support Team, so you should be hearing from someone shortly.
my two cents worth - have you checked the states, hover, and open...I found a similar issue with that template and it was a slight shifting of the text in the different states.
Maybe not your issue, maybe worth a look...good luck
