Adding an image to a 360 hotspot label.

Apr 06, 2022

Hi, I have been adding Markers and Hotspots to a 360 degree interaction.

I have run into an odd situation with two separate hotspot labels.

One image is on it's while the other is completely upside down.  Is there a way to fix the orientation of a picture in a label?

Thanks

Hi, Paul.

Thank you for reaching out!

Can you try to export the image from Storyline and re-import it? If that doesn't work, then the original orientation may be incorrect. You can adjust it using any image editor before re-importing it into Storyline.

If you need help with this, you're welcome to share the .story file, and I'm happy to take a deeper look.

Let me know if this works!

Hello,

Thank you I did try following your instructions. However it did not work, but with that I did trace it back to my images that I was importing the orientation of the images from the original photo were taken on an iPhone and the camera held sideways resulting the rotation hook being on the side or at the bottom of a couple of images.

My workaround was to snip the image and resave as a new image in paint. All worked well.

Thanks for the quick feedback which allowed me to think the issue through.
