I'm wondering if there is any way to add my custom buttons to the preset menu shown in the below image.

Sorry for the delay in answering this one!
You can customize the buttons that we have built into Storyline, but there isn't a way to add the ones you've built to always appear within the pull down.
I think that this would make a great feature request though!
