Adding custom Review button to Articulate 2

Jun 12, 2017

I am creating a WBL using Articulate Storyline 2 and it has one Final Assessment with scoring. Now for Navigation, I have added custom Next and Previous buttons and deselected the default ones from the Settings. While it is working fine everywhere else, once I take the Final Assessment and reach the Result slide, I click on the Review button to see the correct answers. It takes me back to the initial slide of Assessment and shows me the correct responses one by one... What my issue is that when it takes me to the Assessment to show the correct response, it shows the default grey color Articulate Prev Next buttons next to the seekbar... I have no idea how to remove it and I really need to... I am on a deadline here so a quick help would be golden!

Thanks in advance.

Hi Sanjeev,

When learners review a quiz (or revisit question slides they've already submitted), they'll see Articulate Storyline's built-in Prev and Next buttons in the lower right corner of the player—even if you've disabled them throughout your course. These navigation buttons are necessary for learners to review quiz slides.

I have seen a few folks in ELH mention that removing any other player elements such as the volume control, seekbar, etc. prevent the next/prev buttons from appearing as there is no space for them at the bottom. Is that a possible workaround for you?

Also, we're always curious and happy to know more about your needs and ideas for course development. You can share that here in ELH or send along a Feature requests here. If you’re wondering what happens when you submit a feature request, here’s our process.
