Adding Narration to Notes section Aug 05, 2021 By Lauren Ellingham Hi, I want to add narration (in addition to using the CC function). Is using the 'Notes' tab (and changing the name of it to narration) the best way? And if so, how do I do it so that each new slide has its own narration text. Thank you in advance!
Judy Nollet Hero over 2 years ago08/05/21 at 1:36 pm (UTC) Hi, Lauren, You can relabel the Notes tab by editing the Text Label in the Player. FYI: This will change the tab name throughout the course. In other words, you can't just change it for slides with audio. I recommend calling it Audio Transcript, Narration Transcript, or just Transcript so it's obvious what that tab is for. You can turn the tab itself on or off on any given slide. You do that in the Slide Properties: Select "Custom for the selected slides" in the Player features drop-down menu. Select/de-select checkboxes as desired. Whatever you enter in the Notes panel on a slide will appear in the Notes area in the Player (no matter what you rename the tab).
