Adding Text to Cards in Selected State

Hey everyone,

This is my first time using storyline, as I typically use rise360 and I am trying to create flashcards like the interactive ones in rise360. I have figured out how to make the cards and make them interactive (click and see opposite side) by using a shape in the selected state. However, I'm trying to add text from the "edit state" but when I preview my slide, and I click the box for it to flip over the text on the opposite side doesn't disappear. 

How do I add the text in a way where one text shows on the normal side and separate text shows on the selected side. I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like from the "preview" view when I click the card and it flips over; you see the texts from both sides when you should only see text from the selected side
